And officially 175 days until Dune 2 hits theaters.
But who's counting?
Speaking of pumpkin spice lattes (you know you were thinking it), we have a cautionary tale in the first link below about what can happen when you have too many. Well, too much sugar, trans fats, and processed foods, to be more specific. Good one to read while you're in line at Starbucks.
We also have a Pulitzer Prize-winning book reco, an interview with an absolute legend in the world of peak performance, and...legos.
What? We can't be kids sometimes?
It's Fall. Winter is coming. But The Ambush is here.
Scroll down with yo bad self.

What Juliet's Been Reading –
Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver. This Pulitzer Prize-winning book is a bit of a departure from our reading of late about the history of the American West but a good and important read nonetheless. Demon Copperhead reimagines Charles Dickens's story David Copperfield in a modern-day rural America contending with poverty and opioid addiction. It's a commitment to be sure at 560 pages and may not be for the faint of heart considering the book's focus on a wide range of difficult topics, including pervasive drug use, adolescent pregnancies, untimely deaths, and numerous hours spent at Walmart. But Demon Copperhead is an odyssey not to be missed. It highlights our capacity for resilience and inner strength that can grow from the darkest situations, serving as a window into the experiences of those who have navigated a world that often works against them.
How We're Passing the Time Before Dune 2 Release –
Making Dune Legos. Okay, maybe not "making." More like appreciating. Because someone out there (reddit user arithmetic, perhaps?) is apparently a bigger Dune nerd than Kelly. Full props for this reimagining of the Guild Navigator, those reknown spice melange users who fold space and allow for instantaneous interstellar travel. And they all look so happy. Almost as happy as Kelly will be when Dune 2 drops...
What We're Watching –
Bike yoga. We can't get enough of this video of Andre De Carvalho hitting some classic bike stretching moves in the middle of La Vuelta, the grueling 21-stage bike race held in Spain after the Tour de France. If you find yourself on a long ride this Fall, definitely try these out. Beats breaking your flow by getting out of the saddle. We may have to slide some of these into our Virtual Mobility Coach...
